| 01/23/2020 | DAN SANTA CRUZ | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | Please address the following electrical plan review comments. Also provide a written response. 1. Ref; Lighting Plans. The catalog or model numbers shown on the lighting schedules do not correlate for the 'L1' luminaires. Please Clarify. 2. Ref; Plan Sheet PV-4.0. Per the photograph of the existing service conductor terminations. The replacement of the single hole mechanical lugs with 2-hole lugs may require drilling an additional bolt hole in the bus. If necessary, this may compromise the listing or performance of the equipment. Provide a letter from the manufacturer of the equipment stating that the proposed procedure to accomplish the termination of the PV conductors (re-working the lugs from 1-hole to 2-hole) will in no way compromise the listing or performance of the equipment in question, signed by a person authored by the manufacture to take responsibility on the manufacturers behalf. The option would be to provide for a field evaluation after the interconnection is performed by a NRTL or other qualified agency and re-certify the listing of the equipment. 3. Ref; General electrical notes. Please include that the proposed electrical work is also to comply with NEC arts 328, and 490. Ref; 2018 IBC 107.2.1, 2017 NEC, City of Tucson Commercial Plan Submittal requirements, 2012 Tucson/Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code. |
