01/08/2020 | MROSS2 | FIRE | REVIEW | Reqs Change | With the additions, the house will have a fire flow requirement (water available from nearest hydrant) of 2500 GPM. As most residential water systems are designed to supply 1000 GPM, it is highly unlikely this much water will be available. Check with Richard Herran at Tucson Water and see if the system can supply 2500 GPM @ 20 psi. If the system can support this requirement, provide documentation. If it cannot, a residential fire sprinkler system will be required. |
