The Development Package for this project (DP19-0276) clearly indicates a fire sprinkler service line. The fire flow and distances from hydrants were calculated based on the installation of a fire sprinkler system. The architectural submittal indicates no sprinklers are required, and none will be provided. Either provide note on architecturals that sprinklers are to be installed, or the DP must be submitted again, along with a new water plan with a revised fire flow designation. Also, if no sprinklers are to be installed, a new hydrant will be required. Existing hydrant exceeds the 400' distance allowed for a building without sprinklers. |
