(a) The existing 400 amp Main Service Panel shows the PV interconnection as a line side tap. However there is an arrow pointed at the panel with the words."(NEW PV BREAKER)". Please clarify.
(b) Provide a letter signed by a person having the authority from the manufacturer of the service equipment stating that the proposed line side tap and hardware used will not have any effect in compromising the integrity and performance of the equipment. Otherwise, provide for a field inspection by a NRTL (UL or other) or qualifying agency to evaluate and approve the equipment after the line side tap to maintain its listing.
(c) Explain why the ground conductor between the Array and the junction boxes is #6AWG and after the junction box is reduced to #10AWG. Verify compliance with NEC art 690.45, 690.47.
(d) Identify the Rapid Shutdown Initiation Device and assign the appropriate label. NEC 690.12C and D.
(e) Verify that the PV AC disconnect is rated for the largest Fault Current likely to be imposed on it. And is suitable for use as service equipment. NEC 690.13, 690.15, 705.22.
(f) Are all the inverters Model SE14.4KUS? If so, indicate this on the plan.
