2. Verify that the distance from the hot water source to the hot water termination for the public lavatories complies with the requirements of Section C404.5, IECC 2018.
3. Provide an automatic faucet for the lavatory, dispensing a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the automatic faucet will operate for at least 10-seconds for accessibility. Reference: Section 419.6, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09.
4. Appliances (e.g. beverage dispensers, ice makers, etc.) to be directly connected to the water supply system that do not have listed, integral backflow preventers or integral air gaps conforming to Section 608.14.1, IPC 2018 require backflow prevention. Specify the type of backflow prevention device required for each water connection. Reference: Sections 608.1, 608.3 and 608.17.1.2, IPC 2018.
5. Provide separate indirect waste pipes for each compartment of the 3-compartment sink to protect against cross-contamination or fouling. Reference: Sections 801.2 and 802.1.1, IPC 2018.

2. Revise the sequence of operation for the restroom exhaust fans so that all of the air supplied to the restrooms will be exhausted (i.e. all of the air supplied to each restroom is to be exhausted during the hours of operation even if the lights are off). Reference: Section 403.2.1 (4), IMC 2018.
3. Provide general room exhaust for any cooking appliance (e.g. oven/proofer, 15A) that does not require the installation of a Type II hood. The minimum exhaust rate shall be 0.70 CFM per square foot, using a minimum area of 100 square feet for each individual appliance. Reference: Section 507.1, exception 2 and 507.3, IMC 2018.
