01. COMMENT: COMMENT: Zoning has done a review of the building plans. In addition, while the building are consistent as it relates to the zoning review purview zoning cannot approve the building plans until the Commercial Plans reviewer(s) have approved the building plans.

02. COMMENT: Zoning will review the building plans on the next submittal to assure consistency with the DP. Once the DP is approved by all reviewers and the building plans are approved by the Commercial Plans reviewers zoning can approve the building plans

2. Verify that the distance from the hot water source to the hot water termination for the public lavatory complies with the requirements of Section C404.5, IECC 2018.
3. Coordinate the waste and vent diagram with the plumbing floor plan; a 4" GCO is shown on the diagram but not on the plumbing plan). Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.
11/07/2019 RMCCOY1 MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Provide energy code compliance calculations for the building envelope; use the climate zone for Tucson. Provide sufficient detail on the drawings to evaluate the energy compliance of the building envelope (e.g. building and wall sections, building elevations, etc.). The information shall, as a minimum, include U-factors of the envelope systems and fenestration components, along with the R-values of the insulation and the SHGC for the fenestration.. Reference: Sections C101.5, C103.2, C303, and C401.2, International Energy Conservation Code 2018.
2. Provide heating and cooling load calculations to justify the heating/cooling capacities of the specified HVAC units. Reference: Section C403.1.1 and C403.3.1, IECC 2018.
3. Show that the proposed HVAC equipment meets the minimum performance requirements of Section C403.3.2, IECC 2018.
4. Show how one of the "Additional Efficiency Package Options" (C406, IECC 2018) is to be accomplished. Reference: Section C401.2, IECC 2018.
5. Fan coil FC-2 is located "OH IN MEZZANINE." How is it supported? Reference: Section 304.1, IMC 2018.
