Keynote 6 on sheet P1.0 calls out the relocation of a hand sink and its associated indirect waste receptor; The kitchen drawings identify the sink as a vegetable sink. Clarify the type of sink being relocated. A hand sink requires a direct connection to the grease drain system while a vegetable sink will be indirectly connected. Reference: Section 301.3 and 802.1, IPC 2018. (Hand sinks may be connected to the sanitary drain system only if they are provided with a sign stating: "Handwash sink only! No food preparation or dishwashing allowed." Reference: Section 1003.3, IPC 2018 as amended by the City of Tucson.) 4. Appliances (e.g. soda dispensers, combi-ovens, ice makers, etc.) to be directly connected to the water supply system that do not have listed, integral backflow preventers or integral air gaps conforming to Section 608.14.1, IPC 2018 require backflow prevention. Valencia Road - C-2 Zoning TRANSMITTAL DATE: June 18, 2019 DUE DATE: June 18, 2019 COMMENTS: Please resubmit revised drawings and any redlined plans along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Zoning Review Section comments were addressed. 1. COMMENT: Zoning has reviewed the Building plans for the interior remodel and minor exterior building work. Zoning has no adverse comments to the proposed interior modifications or modifications to the exterior of the building zoning cannot approve the T.I Plans at this review. Zoning cannot approve the building plans until the PDSD Commercial Plans reviewers have approved the building plans. The building plans include drawings that are applicable to physical site related changes that are under review by PDSD Staff under the development package (DP19-0112) process. The site related plans in the building package must be the approved, stamped and signed copy of the DP sheets or the site sheets must be labeled as "Reference Only see the approved and stamp copy of the DP19-0112". Zoning will review the building plans again on the next submittal. 2. COMMENT: The unapproved version of the DP must be removed from the building package set or they must be stamped as "For reference only see approved and stamped DP18-0297 3. COMMENT: Zoning will review the building plans on the next submittal to assure that any revisions made to the building plans do not affect zoning requirements and that all PDSD commercial plans reviewers have also approved the building plans. 4. COMMENT: On sheet SD-1, detail 8, correct the height dimension of the ADA signs from FFE to the bottom of the lowest sign to show 7'-0".
