05/07/2019 | ROBERT SHERRY | MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | 1. Provide a specification for "EGA" exhaust grille. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018. 2. Show how the service bay general exhaust system is to be balanced. Reference: Section 403.3.1.5, IMC 2018. 3. Clarify the type of rain guards that will be used on the utility fan sets. 05/07/2019 | ROBERT SHERRY | PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | 1. Revise the size of the main natural gas pipe serving AC-3 and AC-9 (a total input of 252 CFH). Per Table 402.4 (2), the maximum demand that a 1" schedule 40 carbon steel pipe can supply at 70-feet is 237 CFH. Reference: Section 402.4, IFGC 2018. 2. Coordinate the gas piping diagram with the gas piping shown on the plumbing roof plan, sheet P1.2. The labels for regulators R-3 and R-4 are reversed. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018. 3. Primary rainwater leaders may not discharge onto a sidewalk. Reference: Section 7-01.4.1 E, Technical Standards Manual, Tucson Arizona Unified Development Code. 4. Clarify the fixture description for the emergency eyewash, P-11, which notes, "…air admittance valve for vent." The plumbing waste plan shows a floor drain, P-8, by the eyewash and the drain is shown with an individual vent. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018. 5. The rim elevation of the next upstream sanitary manhole (5831-19, 2551.8') is more than 12"below the first floor elevation (2553.00'). A backwater valve shall not be installed per Section 714.1, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson. 6. An approved development plan is not to be used for construction of on-site utilities (e.g. water service to the building, building sewer, etc.). Remove the "reference only" description from the civil plan, C4.3, showing the installation of the water service to the building and the installation of the building sewer. Reference: Sections 104.2 and 107.2.1, IBC 2018. |
