05/14/2019 DAN SANTA CRUZ ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change Please address the following electrical plan review comments. Also provide a written response.
1. Please further clarify the PV output interconnection. The responses from the last review seems to contradict each other. The responses state that the interconnection is at the tap box between the PV AC disconnect and the 200 amp disconnect (load side tap) per the line diagram. If this is the case, what feeder is the PV output conductors tapping into? And also states the PV output feeder is terminated at the top of the Meter (this would constitute a line side tap), explain the purpose of the tap box…. Be advised, the PV output feeder cannot share the same enclosure as the 200 amp disconnect serving other loads. NEC art 690.31B, 705.12A and B.
2. The three line diagram shows 1- 2" EMT conduit with (3)-3/0, 1#4, between the 200 amp fused disconnect and the tap box, and 1- 3/4" EMT conduit with (3) #6, 1#8. For clarity show all the conduits and feeders associated with both systems including proposed feeders or circuits installed between the electrical equipment.
3. Provide signage as required for the DC circuits per NEC 690.31G.
4. Plan sheet M-1 shows the EMT conduit runs. Specify where it is run on the "ROOF", or "UNDER EAVE" or "IN ATTIC".
