04/12/2019 PIMA COUNTY BUILDING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change BUILDING – COMMERCIAL
Reviewer: Chris Anderson
In regards to response to previous building comment 1, only one set of structural calculations was submitted and it is the previous version. An electronic copy of the revised structural calculations (180 pages) was emailed to this reviewer by the Architect which has been reviewed and approved; however please provide two hard copies of the structural calculations to be stamped by the reviewer and included with the approved documents as required by City of Tucson commercial plan review submittal requirements.
In regards to response to previous building review comment 4, the Intertek Report Number: 102022666SAT-001B emailed to the reviewer by the Architect is for test specimen “#2 SYP Lumber/Flame Tech”. This is the only identifier in the report and it is surmised that “SYP” refers to “southern yellow pine” which is not a finish material specified for this project. As far as I can tell, the submitted FlameTech reports and information do not include Louisiana Cypress or White Oak lumber. Also, the governing Code for the City of Tucson is the 2018 IBC. Code references in the submitted materials reference 2009, 2012 and 2015 IBC versions. Please submit additional information to show compliance.
In regards to response to previous building review comment 13, “text on sheet FS2.10 revised to 3/32,” no change was made to this sheet. Text is still <3/32”.
Detail 1/A2.21 shows the moisture barrier extending behind the steel veneer lintel. The moisture barrier/flashing must extend down over the front of the angle to protect the steel as shown in detail 3/A2.21. Weep holes must also be provided to transfer any moisture trapped behind the masonry veneer to the exterior.
04/12/2019 PIMA COUNTY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change PLUMBING – COMMERCIAL
Reviewer: Chris Anderson
Regarding response to previous plumbing review comment 1, there are now two grease trap/interceptor calculations on sheet P2.1. The “Grease Interceptor Calc” added to this sheet for this submittal is correct, showing a 500 gallon interceptor for 14 DFU. Please delete “Grease Trap Sizing Calculation” at the bottom of the page which shows a 1,500 gallon interceptor.
04/12/2019 PIMA COUNTY ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change ELECTRICAL – COMMERCIAL
Reviewer: Charlie Bard
No change has been made to the electrical documents in response to previous electrical comment 2. There are multiple conflicts in the drawings regarding amounts and fixture designations for exterior light fixtures. Please review and coordinate information on plans and schedules in sheets E1.0, E1.2 and E1.3. All sheets must show the same information.
No response has been made for previous electrical review comment 4.
Please submit manufacturer’s product data for all outdoor light fixtures.
