Reference: Section 419.6, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09. 4. Verify that all of the vents (except for the island sink vents) rise vertically to at least 6" above the flood rims of the fixtures they protect prior to running horizontally. Reference: Sections 202 (horizontal pipe) and 905.4, IPC 2018. 5. Clarify which roof drains are primary and which are secondary. Primary roof drains may not discharge onto a sidewalk. 6. Clarify the connected loads or input ratings for each appliance. Southwest Gas, the local gas utility provides natural gas with an energy content of approximately 1,000 BTU per cubic foot.
