COMMENT: Square footage for the flooring systems building shown on the building plan (9,411 sf) doesn't match the square footage on the occupancy load / existing building square footage note or the sf shown on the Development package (9,260 sf). The square footage of the addition is not consistent with that of the one shown on the DP, however since its less than the one shown on the DP it is acceptable. 2. COMMENT: Zoning will review the building plans on the next submittal as it relates to the zoning review purview and compare the building plan footprint, building height, and square footage and location to ensure consistency with the DP. 3. COMMENT: Once the plans have been reviewed and approved by PDSD Commercial Plan Reviewers and zoning has verified consistency with the DP, the building plans can be approved by zoning. Detail3/P.2 shows the proposed water heater sitting on the second floor but the second floor plumbing plan, 2/P.1, shows the temperature and pressure relief pipe located above the seco0nd floor ceiling. Revise the design to prevent the relief pipe from being trapped and allow it to flow by gravity to the discharge point. Reference: Section 504.6, IPC 2018. 5. A ¾" pipe has a maximum allowable pipe length of 6-inches from the hot water source to the lavatory in a public restroom. Reference: Section C404.5.1, IECC 2018. |
