10/31/2019 GLENN MOYER ADMINISTRATIVE ADMIN REVIEW Reqs Change Below are the BRC comments on the authorized repair submittal for COT ID# 398 at 2229 North Stone Avenue (T19BU00496).

Sheet 1 of 2
None

Sheet 2 of 2
1. In Light Arm Mounting Detail (Side View), revise upright side and vertical position of top backrail to conform to Poster Panel Side View (as is existing condition).

2. In Poster Panel Top View and North Sign Face Elevation, the depictions do not address the third (middle) light support arm and the two arms that are shown appear to be in the wrong lateral positions; make appropriate changes to reflect actual field conditions in these regards and revise number and locations of conduit straps and associated fasteners through the plan sheet as necessary.

3. In Poster Panel Top View and North Sign Face Elevation, revise designations to read that light fixture and support arms are to be detached and reattached (rather than to remain), conforming to balance of submitted plan.

4. Revise title of Stringer Mounting Detail to reflect the two 3”x 4” pieces on south side of uprights being designated backrails.

5. Provide rear (south) elevation that shows the horizontal conduit run between light fixture arms, the incoming service line conduit and associated perforated angle support, and other appropriate detail.

6. The horizontal 3”x 6” wood piece on the north side of the uprights appears to be an orphan remnant from when the face panel was replaced after original construction (without a permit); in Scope of Work, North Sign Face Elevation, and Poster Panel Side View redesignate this piece as a stringer and provide for either its removal or a shorter run replacement as necessary to support the incoming conduit from the service line weatherhead and the associated perforated angle (an extended length of replacement angle clamped to the upright would be accepted if that alone would provide sufficient support for the conduit/weatherhead).

7. The principal top 3” x 4” backrail appears to have the sole function of supporting light fixture associated conduit and existing length appears to be well short of the 24’ stated; if the lower backrail is to be retained as a true backrail; reduce the length of the top backrail to reflect existing length (recentering for sufficient support of outer light fixture arms will be accepted).
