Sheet 1 of 3 1. In Billboard Note #3, revise APN to reflect recent parcel split. 2. In Billboard Note #3, add APN for parcel to west per land use survey of record and past private party litigation. 3. In site plan with aerial photograph underlay, add north-south parcel line to reflect parcel split noted in Comment #1 above and add APN for parcel to the east resulting from the parcel split. 4. Revise legal description, as applicable, per Comment #1 above. Sheet 2 of 3 1. In 2nd and 12th paragraphs of Scope of Work, revise number and dimensions of face panels for west face so as to conform with actual existing (and with Tiffin straps shown on Sheet 3). 2. In 3rd and 11th paragraphs of Scope of Work, revise number of wood spacers per face from two (2) to four (4), consistent with plan sheet details and standard installation. 3. In 3rd paragraph of Scope of Work, add sentence confirming that spacers have a non-standard 2” thickness compared to standard 1” thickness (or revise in the 3rd and 11th paragraphs of Scope of Work if thickness was stated in error for either or both faces). 4. In 9th paragraph of Scope of Work, clarify if north offset is to remain in place during replacement of attaching bolts (4) or whether offset is to be removed and reinstalled at any point during work. 5. In 10th paragraph of Scope of Work, clarify if south tapered upright and south offset are to remain in place while attaching bolts (8) are replaced or if either or both of these parts are to be removed and reinstalled at any point during work. 6. In East Face Sign Elevation, add standard notation below title that west face is same or similar. 7. In Poster Panel Top View and Detail “A” revise terms “I-Beam” and “Taper” to “Upright Taper”, to conform to balance of plan sheet. 8. Several notes indicate the use of A325 bolts. If these are to be used, a Special Inspection Certificate must be filled out and submitted to the City of Tucson. Please verify. 9. Add note that inspection to be called for after replacement of south tapered upright but prior to reinstallation of face panels and pigeon pan frame and prior to removal of replaced south tapered upright from site. 10. Provide structural analysis of existing materials by registered structural engineer to determine scope of life remaining for tapered uprights. Analysis to include structural calculations and an on-site inspection report of conditions that are or may be affecting the structural integrity of the uprights, to be substantiated by close-up photographs, particularly at the upright web bases. Sheet 3 of 3 1. In Top Stringer and Spacer Mounting, revise spacer thickness if applicable (see Comment #2 for Sheet 2). 2. In Plain View associated with west face panel clip, clarify title by changing to “Face Panel Attachment (Top View, West Face)”, as is done for east face. 3. In Face Panel Attachment (Top View, East Face), add language to the depiction indicating that clip is to be removed and not replaced. FIN. |
