04/11/2019 GLENN MOYER ADMINISTRATIVE ADMIN REVIEW Reqs Change Below are BRC comments on the authorized electrical repair submittal for COT ID# 318 at 5085 East 29th Street (T19BU00017).

Sheet 1 of 2

1. In site plan with aerial photograph underlay, revise north-south solid line that appears to divide lot lines of original plat lo dotted line (or to otherwise distinguish from current parcel boundary lines) and add indication that line is original plat boundary line between Lot 17 & Lot 18.

2. In Title Block, insert “electrical” in title (before “repair”).

Sheet 2 of 2

1. In 2nd paragraph of Scope of Work, indicate removal of meter socket (rather than just meter) and delete reference to 1 ½” IMC (to be covered in separate paragraph per Comment #4 below).

2. In 2nd paragraph of Scope of Work or other appropriate location, indicate the manufacturer, type, and model number of the existing timer in the existing 122 panel box.

3. After 2nd paragraph of Scope of Work, add paragraph as to removal of the two ballasts and associated two junction boxes, conduit, and wiring.

4. After 4th paragraph of Scope of Work, insert paragraph as to removal of existing conduit from utility pole to meter socket, including material, diameter and other descriptions of existing riser and underground conduit (if known as to the latter).

5. In 6th paragraph of Scope of Work or other appropriate location, provide justification for not like increase in diameter of IMC riser conduit at I-beam (from 1 ½” to 2 ½”); in particular specify the rating of the existing and replacement services and provide the minimum diameter conduit necessary to meet the justification cited. .

6. After 8th paragraph of Scope of Work, add paragraph as to reinstallation of two existing ballasts and associated existing junction boxes, conduit and wiring..

7. In 10th paragraph of Scope of Work, add number, material, diameter, and lengths of ground rods, separation distance between rods, and cable description.

8. In One-Line Diagram, only one circuit is shown coming out of panel box, whereas the 122PROG panel literature and both Electrical Riser Diagrams indicate two circuits; please resolve this inconsistency.

9. In One-Line Diagram indicate that ballasts are to be removed and reinstalled (rather than to remain)

10.. In West Face Sign Elevation, replace term “meter base” (used twice) with term “meter socket”, consistent with other use on plan sheet.

11. Resolve inconsistency between number of #18 conductors shown in ¾ “ riser in West Face Sign Elevation (6) and the number shown in both Existing and New Electrical Riser Diagrams (12).

12. In New Electrical Riser Diagram, add material, diameter, and length of ground rods.

13. Add detail depicting IMC and PVC conduit from utility pole to meter socket, showing material types and dimensions of existing (if known) and new conduit, depicting transition points from IMC to PVC, and specifying existing and new electrical service rating.

14. Add standard panel schedule.

15. Add manufacturer’s literature sheet for Tork EWZ timer, specifying series to be installed.

FIN.
