Maps & Records Comments:
Electronic Submitted Plans are only 11" x 17" in size. Submittals should be 24" x 36" in size and at 600 PPI (Pixels Per Inch) resolution in pdf and tiff formats if Mylars are not submitted.
In many locations the plans indicate that the construction is very close or abutting Right-of Way. Other ROW Pins are in areas where existing pavement is listed to be removed. Extreme care must be made to ensure construction stays within ROW and ROW Pins are not disturbed or destroyed during the construction. ROW Pins disturbed or destroyed during construction must be replaced by a Registered Land Surveyor (RLS).
" Southbound Stone Ave. at Glenn St. has a curb behind the bus pad that appears to abut ROW (Pg 18 of the plans). Three ROW Pins abut or are within areas scheduled to have existing pavement removed. These ROW Pins are likely going to be disturbed or destroyed during the construction and will therefore need to be replaced.
" Northbound Stone Ave. at Glenn St. has three ROW Pins within areas scheduled to have existing pavement removed (Pg 19 of the plans). These ROW Pins are likely going to be disturbed or destroyed during the construction and will therefore need to be replaced.
" Southbound Stone Ave. at Fort Lowell Rd. has new sidewalk to match existing sidewalk at ROW (Pg 20 of the plans). ROW Pin likely will be destroyed during construction and will need to be replaced. Additionally two ROW Pins are within areas scheduled to have existing pavement removed. These ROW Pins are likely going to be disturbed or destroyed during the construction and will therefore need to be replaced.
" Northbound Stone Ave. at Yavapi Rd. has new sidewalk to match existing sidewalk ramp nearly at ROW (Pg 21 of the plans). Care must be exercised to maintain construction within ROW and to preserve the ROW Pin.
" Southbound Stone Ave. at Prince Rd. has new fence behind bus pad nearly at ROW (Pg 22 of the plans). Fence post foundation need to remain within ROW and construction of the fence is not to disturbed or destroyed ROW Pins.
