PROJECT REVIEWER: Richard Leigh, TDOT, TDOT Eng. Review
RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: TDOT Permit Review Section has reviewed the subject PIA paving plan and does not recommend approval at this time. The following comments need to be addressed and plans revised prior to resubmittal. Please include a response letter addressing the following comments and return redlined drawings with subsequent submittal.
1. Include the plan number “I-2018-023” in the title block of each sheet.
2. Include the PIA activity number “T18PI00039” on cover sheet.
3. Sheets 2 through 9: Remove signatory titles from title blocks.
4. Sheet 1, General Paving Note 8: Revise note to indicate the use of TDOT Mix No. 2 for the asphaltic concrete.
5. Sheet 2 & 8: Call out standard detail for new to existing curb and sidewalk connections at Tucson Blvd. and Bilby Rd.
6. Call out all proposed curb access ramps and indicate type.
7. Call out all proposed sidewalk scuppers.
8. Provide all details in this plan set for all proposed storm drain crossings proposed in the public right-of-way. Private drainage easement will need to be obtained for the private storm drains in the ROW.
9. Sheet 9, Section A: Per TSM 2-01.9.0 a minimum 2’ setback is required from top/toe of slope and property line.
10. Please Refer to redline plans for additional comments and comment details.
