We would request that numbers for Left turn Warrant Analysis be found through real world analysis and not through simulation. Furthermore, the warrants must be met with current traffic numbers and not future predictions. If the analysis is done in this way and a warrant is met we can re-review your plans for installing left turn arrows at this location. The following comments need to be addressed prior to in the subsequent review submittal. Please return redlined drawings with next submittal. 1. Use TDOT engineering plan template for this plan set. The latest TDOT engineering plan template can be found at https://www.tucsonaz.gov/tdot/engineering. 2. Include the plan number "U-2018-009" in the title block of each sheet. 3. Include PIA activity number "T18PI00023" on cover sheet. 4. Include Development Plan number on cover sheet (if applicable). 5. Verify that all curb access ramps have an unobstructed and sized ramp landings per Technical Standards Manual (TSM) 10-01.4.3. 6. Provide stationing and offsets for proposed structures. 7. Label beginning/ending of pavement mill and inlay areas. 8. Sheet 5: Provide complete details for the proposed sidewalk scupper on Drachman Street east of Fremont Avenue. 9. Sheet 5: The sidewalk along Drachman St and Mable St at Fremont Ave exceed the maximum allowable lateral transition per TSM 10-01.3.3.D.1.d. Revise as needed. 10. Sheet 6: Verify section callout on Mable St, B/11 is for the cross walk section. 11. Sheet 8: Clarify where pavement replacement and mill and inlay will end at the intersection of Hellen St and Freemont Ave. 12. Sheet 8: Provide details for lighting fixtures along Fremont Ave between Hellen St and Mable Ave. 13. Sheet 11, Detail B: Indicate thickness of concrete base and provide specifications for latex based mortar. 14. Sheet 13, detail Y: Truncated domes are not required in the channelizing island. 15.
