On sheet E0.03 the Site Lighting Base Detail 1 showing construction of the concrete base is redundant. A structural detail for light pole bases is shown on structural sheet S6.1. Coordinate detail with Architect so that differing information is not given.
On sheet E0.03 please include outdoor lighting lumen calculations in accordance with the 2012 City of Tucson/Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code Table 401.1. Select a commercial lighting option for lighting area E3 and provide calculations in tabular form for allowable total lumens (fully shielded plus unshielded) and for the maximum allowable unshielded lumens portion of the total. The proposed total lumens and the proposed unshielded fixtures lumens shall match or be less than the allowable lumens. For each fixture indicate “fully shielded” or “unshielded”. Refer to the definitions for each in the OLC. The photometric site plan on sheet E0.03 does not provide the information required.
Per the 2012 City of Tucson/Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code 402.1 the maximum rated color temperature for outdoor light sources (lamps and fixtures) is 3500K. Please verify that the exterior fixtures shown in the Exterior Luminaire Schedule, sheet E2.00, are in compliance.
In General Lighting Notes, sheet E2.00, please change item 2 to read “2012 International Energy Conservation Code” rather than “Arizona State Energy Code.”
There is a note PENDING FINAL DESIGN referencing the Electrical Utility Schedule on sheet E3.01. As these documents have been submitted for a building permit and the design should be “final” please remove this note.
Provide an Arizona registered electrical engineer’s stamp for all electrical sheets
