3. Provide a floor drain for the laundry room. Reference: Section 412.4, IPC 2012.
4. Verify that the specified electronic faucet for the public lavatories will dispense a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle and that the cycle will operate for at least 10-seconds for accessibility. Reference: Section 416.6, IPC 2012, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09.
5. Provide tempered water for the public restroom lavatories using approved devices conforming to ASSE 1070. Reference: Section 607.1.2, IPC 2012.
6. The shop drawings for the water feature calls for the installation of a reduced pressure principle backflow prevention assembly for the water makeup to the fountain. Where is the backflow preventer located?
7. Appliances (e.g. ice makers) to be directly connected to the water supply system that do not have listed, integral backflow preventers or integral air gaps conforming to Section 608.13.1, IPC 2012 require backflow prevention. Specify the type of backflow prevention device required for each water connection. Reference: Sections 608.1 and 608.3, IPC 2012.
8. Water supply connections to beverage dispensers (e.g. coffee brewers, espresso machines) shall be protected with backflow preventers conforming to ASSE 1022. Reference: Section 608.16.1, IPC 2012.
9. Provide separate indirect waste pipes for each compartment of the 3-compartment sink to protect against cross-contamination or fouling. Reference: Sections 801.2 and 802.1.8, IPC 2012.
10. Verify that all of the vents rise vertically to at least 6" above the flood rims of the fixtures they protect prior to running horizontally (see plan 2/P-4.02). Reference: Section 905.4, IPC 2012.
01/15/2019 DAN SANTA CRUZ ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change Please address the following electrical plan review comments. Also provide a written response.
1. Provide sealed Electrical plans as required per Arizona Revised Statutes and Board of Technical Registration, R4-304. "** ENGINEERS MUST LIST BRANCH -Agriculture, Architectural Chemical, Civil, Control Systems, Electrical, Environmental, Fire Protection, Geological, Industrial, Mechanical, Metallurgical Mining, Nuclear, Petroleum, Sanitary, or Structural". The electrical plans need to be sealed by an Electrical Engineer registered in the State of Arizona.
2. Provide full compliance with the 2012 Tucson/Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code for the exterior lighting. See section 104 for plan submittal requirements. This Code can be printed or downloaded from www.tucsonaz.gov/pdsd.
3. Ref: Plan Sheet E2.02. The symbols representing electrical devices are to small and some not legible. Please enlarge so as to distinguish and correlate with the symbols plan.
4. Ref: Plan Sheet E2.04.
(a) There are lines or branch circuiting on the floor plan borders and through-out the lighting plan that are not connected to luminaires or devices, do not continue, or there is no branch circuit designations. Please clarify.
(b) Designate a symbol or mark for each luminaire that correlates with the Luminaire Schedules, Lighting Control Schedule, and the IECC Comcheck Certificate.
(c) Ref: Plan Sheet E2.04 and E3.00. There is a statement below the Keynotes-New P.A box. "Some Keynotes may not apply to all sheets". For clarity please remove the keynotes that do not apply to the corresponding sheet.
(d) The lighting in the restrooms do not correlate with the lighting schedules, or are not identified in the lighting schedule and have incomplete branch wiring. Please clarify.
(e) Some of the notes and or symbols in the restrooms are overlapping making it difficult to determine what its identifying or representing.
5. Ref: Plan Sheet E211. Designate a branch circuit and panel for the outlets in the Meeting Room and correlate with the corresponding panel schedule. 2017 NEC 408.4.
6. Ref: Plan sheet E3.00.
(a) Electrical Schedule. Define on the plan what the abbreviations "SR", "VFY", and "EC" represent.

(a) Provide a load calc summary for the existing service. Include all the panels.

(d) Panel 'B'. Designate a OCPD for the Bar Receptacle ckt#30.
(e) Panel 'C' schedule is not showing the OCPD for panel '2L'. Update the load calcs accordingly.
(f) Why is panel 'EPL' not included in the one line diagram? If fed from a different source, please indicate and provide a complete line diagram with load calcs, as it appears there are new loads added to this panel.
