01/02/2019 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. The term "private" for plumbing fixtures applies to fixtures that are for the use of a family or an individual. The restroom labeled as "private" appears to be "public" and must provide tempered water through the use of a thermostatic mixing valve listed to ASSE 1070. Reference: Sections 202, 416.5 and 607.1.2, IPC 2012.
2. The manufacturer of the dish machine (ADS model AFB) recommends against the use of floor sinks for draining the dish machine due to the possibility of flooding. Show that the floor drain used as an indirect receptor for the dish machine is capable of accepting the maximum discharge and is designed to prevent splashing or flooding. Reference: Section 802.3.1, IPC 2012.
3. Clarify the common venting of the floor sink P-1 and the hand sink, #46 located by the built-in prep sink, #42 and the Panini grill. Shouldn't the fixture drain for the hand sink connect to the common vent above the floor sink? Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012.

2. Show that the heat and moisture loads from the proposed dishwashing machine are included in the HVAC load calculations for the space or install a Type II hood over the dishwashing machine. Reference: Section 507.2.2, IMC 2012.
3. The ceiling height is only 7'-9", show how the proposed 24" high Type I hood will fit in the available space. Reference Section 507.10, IMC 2012 and Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012.
4. Provide structural calculations and details showing how the 1139-pound hood will be supported by the building structure. Include the weight of any unsupported ductwork and the possible weight of a person working on the hood. Reference: Section 507.6, IMC 2012.

2. Sheet TS; Adopted Codes: Please remove the 2012 Residential Code, and revise the Accessibility Code.
