11/19/2018 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Provide heating and cooling load calculations for the three proposed rooftop AC units, using the exterior design conditions shown in Section 302.2, IECC 2012, as modified by the City of Tucson.
2. Show that the proposed HVAC control system for the three rooftop units will provide for off-hour and set-back control, automatic shutdown and automatic start-up control (i.e. the system is capable of automatically adjusting the start time of the HVAC equipment in order to bring the interior conditions to the desired temperature at the start of occupancy) and, if manual changeover from the heating and cooling modes is not required, it restricts set point overlap. Reference: Section C403.2.4, IECC 2012.
3. Condensate drains shall be terminated at an approved disposal location. Show the size, routing, and termination of the condensate drains. Reference: Section 307.2.1, IMC 2012, as amended by the City of Tucson.
4. The ventilation calculations identify ten areas as "pet shop" but only provide exhaust for two of the areas. If these areas are not best describe a pet areas, revise the calculations as needed (e.g. the operating room might be described as having an occupant density of 10 people per 1,000 square feet and needing 25 CFM per person). Reference: Section 403.3, IMC 2012.

3. Revise the design criteria of the water distribution system to provide a flow pressure of 15 PSI or the flow pressure prescribed by the fixture or appliance manufacturer, whichever is greater. Reference: Section 604.3, IPC 2012, as amended by the City of Tucson.
4. Provide information to show that the installation of the thermal expansion tank complies with the manufacturer's listing requirements (i.e. on the cold water supply line, between the water heater and the shut off valve or check valve). Reference: Sections 303.2 and 607.3.2, IPC 2012.
5. Provide an automatic faucet for the lavatory, dispensing a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the automatic faucet will operate for a minimum time of 10-seconds. Reference: Section 416.6, IPC 2012, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09.
