10/11/2018 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Provide structural calculations for the support of the water heater to show that the water heater will be safely supported from the building structure. Reference: Section 301.2, IPC 2012.
2. Verify that the specified sensor faucet for the public lavatories has an automatic time-out so that it will dispense a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the cycle time will last for at least 10-seconds for accessibility. Reference: Section 416.6, IPC 2012, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09.
3. Provide an approved vacuum relief valve for the scheduled bottom-fed water heater that is located above the fixture outlets. Reference: Section 504.2, IPC 2012.
4. Provide a full-open valve for the water supply pipe to the water heater. Reference: Section 606.1(8), IPC 2012.
5. The Watts model 9BD, identified as "RPZ-1" in the plumbing fixture schedule is not a reduced pressure principle backflow prevention assembly (ASSE 1013) as the tag implies.
