11/09/2018 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. This comment does not appear to have been addressed. [Initial comment: Provide insulation on the circulating hot water piping per Section C404.5, IECC 2012.]
2. The note on detail 1/P2 seems to be misleading. The vents must rise vertically to a point 6" above the flood rim of the fixture (i.e. floor level in the case of a hydromechanical grease interceptor) prior to running horizontal. [Initial comment: Verify that all of the vents (except for vents serving interceptors located outdoors) rise vertically to at least 6" above the flood rims of the fixtures they protect prior to running horizontally. Reference: Section 905.4, IPC 2012.]
11/13/2018 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change Clarify the relationship of the submitted cooling load calculations and the proposed installation of a new AC unit supplementing the existing 7.5-ton AC unit. The existing AC unit likely has a total capacity of around 80 MBH with a sensible capacity around 65 MBH. The new unit is scheduled as a 3-ton unit but the model specified is a 5-ton unit. Show how the equipment capacity complies with Section C402.2.2, IECC 2012. [Initial comment: Provide heating and cooling load calculations, using the exterior design conditions shown in Section 302.2, IECC 2012, as modified by the City of Tucson.]
