| 09/14/2018 | ERIC NEWCOMB | BUILDING-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | 1. Sheet G000: The City of Tucson requires all lettering (upper and lower case) to be a minimum of 3/32" in height. Please revise. 2. Sheet G000; Code Summary: A note indicates "Plumbing fixture calculations for first floor are based on the calculated occupancy of 70 total occupants". If this is an existing one story space, with a total occupant load listed as 582, what does that note imply? If there is no change in use, no change in occupancy type, no change in building area, and no change in occupancy load, the existing plumbing fixtures do not have to be calculated. Please verify and revise the note as required. 3. Sheets G001 through G003: The City of Tucson requires all lettering (upper and lower case) to be a minimum of 3/32" in height. Please revise. 4. Sheet G101; Floor Code Plan: Are the exits existing? Please verify. 5. Sheets A102 and A103; Wall Legend: Please reference where the wall types are located in this drawing set. 6. Sheet A103 (Floor Plan); Sheet A320 (Wall Types): Walls in Training Room 2 indicate C3. There is no Wall Type C3 listed on Sheet A320. Please verify. 7. Sheet A320; Detail 5: Please indicate the stud brace size on the detail. In addition, Extend the detail to indicate how the brace connects to the structure above. 8. General: Please provide written responses to all review comments. |
| 09/20/2018 | ROBERT SHERRY | MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | 1. Section R4-30-304 of the Rules of the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration, states that the seal shall have both a signature of the registrant and the date the document was sealed. 2. Variable air volume systems vary the amount of air recirculated to spaces base on the heating and cooling requirements of the spaces. The minimum ventilation air required for each space, based on the requirements of Table 403.3, IMC 2012, is constant during occupied hours and independent of the heating and cooling requirements. Verify that the existing air handlers have controls to provide the required ventilation flow rates during occupied hours. Reference: Section 403.6, IMC 2012. |
