07/20/2018 | PIMA COUNTY | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | T18CM05198 - PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS Reviewer: Chris Anderson, July 20, 2018 ELECTRICAL – COMMERCIAL Provide interior lighting watt calculations per 2012 IECC C405.5.2. Per Table C405.5.2(1) the power allowance for parking garages is 0.3 watts per square foot. Are the specified open bay light fixtures full-cutoff type? The 2012 City of Tucson/Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code does not count full cutoff lumens located under canopy or roof area in the total allowable outdoor lumen count. If the light fixtures are unshielded type as defined in the OLC provide outdoor lighting lumen calculations per one of the commercial options available in OLC Table 401.1 using the “developed area,” also defined in the OLC, for this project as basis for lumen calculations. Ref. 2012 OLC 401.2.1(3). |

COMMENT: Zoning has reviewed the building plans for compliance with the approved version of the development package. While the building footprint is consistent with the DP as it relates to the zoning review purview (Building footprint, Height, square footage, site conditions etc.) zoning cannot approve the building plans until the building plans have been approved by the 2nd Party Commercial Plans Reviewers. 2. COMMENT: Zoning will review the building plans on the next submittal as it relates to the zoning review purview and compare the building plan footprint, building height, and square footage and location to ensure consistency with the DP. 3. COMMENT: If any changes are necessary, due to the 2nd Party Commercial Plan Reviewer's comments that affect or change the building footprint, height, or square footage, the DP will need to be updated prior to approval of the building plans by Zoning. 4. COMMENT: Once the plans have been reviewed and approved by the 2nd Party Commercial Plan Reviewers and zoning has verified consistency with the DP, the building plans can be approved by zoning. 5.
