However, the Manual J submitted with this package on sheet M1.3 calculates a total cooling load of 32,043 Btuh. Per Manual S, section 3-4, the cooling capacity of the selected equipment shall not exceed the calculated cooling load by more than 15%. A Manual J for the 2nd floor was submitted with this package however FC#4/HP#4 does not appear in the equipment schedule for this submittal. Please add the unit shown in the Manual J Cooling Equipment Summary to the schedule on sheet M0.1 and label it THIS PHASE as you did with AC#1. Add the second floor mechanical plan to this drawing set as well. The initial permit T17CM04820 labeled this work “Not in this Permit” and was not reviewed. If the same plan shown in the previous permit sheet M1.1 is transferred to this set of drawings, be aware that there appears to be no SA to bedroom 205. Submit structural calculations to show that the existing roof framing can support the new 763-lb kitchen exhaust hood and fan. |
