05/24/2018 | ROBERT SHERRY | MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | The City of Tucson has not adopted ASHRAE Standard 62-1 as an approved method for calculating ventilation requirements. Table 403.3 provides a category of "Dressing rooms" under the general occupancy classification of "Retail stores, sales floors and showroom floors"; no locker rooms are included in this occupancy classification. "Locker rooms" and "Sports locker rooms" are found under the education occupancy classification. [Initial comment: Provide exhaust for the fitting rooms. Reference: Section 403.3, IMC 2012.] |
05/24/2018 | DAN SANTA CRUZ | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | Please address the following electrical plan review comments. Also provide a written response. Per the previous electrical plan review comment #4. The Tucson/Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code section 104.2, states, "The applicant shall submit as part of the application for permit evidence that the proposed work will comply with this code". The Wattage of the proposed retrofitted and or new lighting is not the issue in this case. However, it is possible that the total allowed lumen output per Table 401.1 may be exceeded or the maximum allowed light source color temperature may exceed the 3500K limit due to the lighting alteration. Please provide Lumen calcs, color temperature, shielding information, Parcel size, lighting area and option per table 401.1, and any other information as required per Chapters 1 through 4 on the plans.
