05/30/2018 DAN SANTA CRUZ ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change Please address the following electrical plan review comments. Also provide a written response.
#1. As per the previous plan review Comment #1, it was requested to provide complete compliance with the Tucson/Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code for the exterior lighting. Per section 102 thru 402, the exterior lighting plans must include all the information required per these sections. The Cover Plan C-S and City records show this project as parcel 12616319D, 12.6 acres not .1 as shown on the lumen calcs sheet E-5. See section 102 "Applicability" your project may fall under 102.4.2. This parcel appears to be one owner, therefore the total parcel is affected, section 104.2.1(2). Revise the exterior lighting plans to comply with this Code.
#2. Per previous review comment #2, it was requested to provide full compliance with the 2012 IECC. The IECC is not based on lumens, it is based on power consumption in watts. See the tables in section C405 for allowed watts per square foot and apply the in the calcs. Also be sure to comply with the lighting control requirements per section C405.2.
