As per the last electrical plan review comment. "#1. Designate a branch circuit and panel for the Evap cooler maintenance receptacles. If they are sharing the pump circuit, please indicate this on the plans". A code reference was provided by the reviewer NEC 408.4, States, "FIELD IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED Every circuit and circuit modification shall be legibly identified as to its clear, evident, and specific purpose or use. The identification shall include sufficient detail to allow each circuit to be distinguished from all others……. The identification shall be included in a circuit directory"… As per the response, " The receptacle circuits are clearly shown on sheet E3 and on the panel schedules". The plan reviewer double checked the re- submittal and there is no circuit indicated on plan sheet E3, and the panel schedules making any reference of cooler maintenance receptacles. Furthermore it was noted that GFI protection was not provided for as required per NEC 210.8b(4). The receptacle symbol used on the plan does not correlate with the symbol for GFI on the symbol schedule E1, Nor was it identified as GFI protected on the plans. Please address this. | 08/02/2018 | DAVID RIVERA | ZONING | REVIEW | Reqs Change | FROM: David Rivera PDSD Zoning Review Section PROJECT: T18CM01546 - New Building (Storage Use) Building Plan Review (2nd Review) - Bilby Warehouse 2622 E Bilby Road TRANSMITTAL DATE: August 2, 2018 DUE DATE: August 13, 2018 COMMENTS: Please resubmit revised drawings and any redlined plans along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Zoning Review Section comments were addressed. 1. COMMENT: Zoning has done a cursory review of the building plans. Prior to a more comprehensive review by zoning the Approval of the Revised DP is required. While the cursory review did yield an indication that the building plans are consistent with what has been proposed and drawn on the DP (that has been submitted for review) zoning cannot approve the building plans at this time. As of this second review of the building plans, the DP has not been re-submitted for review. The DP needs to be submitted for review and approval before zoning will approve the building plans. 2. COMMENT: Zoning will review the building plans on the next submittal to assure consistency with the approved DP. If any changes are necessary to the building plans due to plan review comments that affect zoning requirements, the DP will have to be revised to reflect the changes. Once the DP is approved by all reviewers and the building plans are approved by the Commercial Plans reviewers zoning can approve the building plans. 3. COMMENT: Zoning will refer to the approved Development Package for reference and compliance. Include as reference a copy of the approved DP with the next submittal. If the DP has not been scanned at PDSD and not available for review as reference include a hard copy as "reference only" with the building plans. (Do not attach the DP or make them part of the building plans package.)
