The City of Tucson requires all lettering (upper and lower case) to be a minimum of 3/32" in height. Indicate the location of the new ramada on that plan along with all critical dimensions for the separation of the ramada to property lines and existing structures as required. 2. General: Please provide a code analysis for this ramada on a cover sheet, including Construction Type (IBC Chapter 6), Occupancy Classification (IBC Chapter 3), Allowable Height and Area (IBC Chapter 5), and any Fire Resistance Rating required due to separation restrictions (IBC Chapter 6). 3. General: Please provide a list of material strengths for this ramada on a cover sheet, including wood, concrete, concrete reinforcing, bolts/screws, welds, wood sheathing, steel tube sections, and miscellaneous steel sections. Some of these values are listed in the calculations/drawings. 4. General: Please provide a list of the loadings used for this ramada on a cover sheet, including Roof Live Load (IBC Section 1607), Roof Dead Load (IBC Section 1606), Wind Load Ultimate/Nominal Design Speeds (IBC Section 1609), Seismic Design Category and Site Class (IBC Section 1613), and Geotechnical Information (IBC Chapter 18). Some of these values are listed in the calculations/drawings. Reference the IBC Sections 107 and 1603 for Document Requirements. 5. General: Please provide a reference to the 2012 International Building Code on a cover sheet. 6. Section 8 Sheet: Please provide the lateral analysis of the plywood roof deck, and indicate the required nailing size and spacing to transfer that deck load. 7. Section 8 Sheet: The steel columns must be designed for the combined anial and lateral loads. Please provide that calculation. 8. Figure A-7 Sheet: Please indicate the clear distance from the bottom of the footing to the bottom of the reinforcing as 3", and stop the reinforcing 3" clear from the side of the footing to the end of the reinforcing. 9. Calculations: Please provide structural calculations for the footing design, including combined axial and lateral loads. 10. Calculations: Please provide structural calculations for the 6" x 8" wood support beams. 11. Wood Truss Drawings: Per the IBC Section 107.3.4, the design professional in charge shall be responsible for reviewing and coordinating documents prepared by others. These documents shall be reviewed and forwarded to the building official with notation on the drawings/calculations that the submittal documents have been reviewed and found to be in general conformance to the design of the building.
