In Title Block, revise total number of sheets to account for added sheet with resubmittal. Sheet 2 of 5 1. At end of Scope of Work, provide final paragraph accounting for threading safety cable through safety cable guide and attaching to lower mounting bracket.. 2. Add boxed note with the specific OSHA regulations or requirements for both the addition of the safety cable system and the ladder replacement that is not like (as per Paragraph 10.4 of the Stipulation). 3. In added West Elevation, the same dimension lines are used for the safety cable and column ladder, even though it is apparent from other details that the elevations of the cable top and bottom do not match those for the ladder top and bottom; provide separate dimension lines for safety cable assuring that the length is correct. 4. In added West Elevation, conform language on faces to that in South Elevation (deleting to remain).. 5. Revise title of Partial Site Plan to the standardized Partial Vicinity Map. Sheet 3 of 5 1. In LAD-SAF Mounting Detail, revision per Comment #3 on Sheet 4 of 4 on original submittal is not correct; revise to show both first and second ladder rungs as new and deleting “to remain”. ; 2. In added Mounting Bracket Detail D, add designations and leader lines for cable tensioner and cable tensioning nut, locknut and washer (a better photographic illustration of the cable attachment to lower mounting bracket exists and should be substituted if available). Sheet 4 of 5 1. In added Detail G, for clarity, please revise title by adding New Column Ladder Mounting, as in Detail F above. 2. In New Ladder Detail, the reference to “Like” does not appear to be correct for both the rungs and sidebars per added ladder details showing changes from existing ; if so, delete “Like” so as to conform to the other details. 3. In New Ladder Detail, revise title so as to clarify if detail applies to both upper access and column mounted ladders. 4. In Top Ladder Mounting Detail, it appears that the title should refer to upper access ladder mounting detail, if so please revise for clarity.. Sheet 5 of 5. 1. Resubmittal is not fully responsive to Comments #5-#9 for Sheet 4 of 4 on the original submittal; please provide full Technical Data Sheets, not just dimensioned insets for upper and lower mounting brackets, safety cable guide, flexible sleeve and safety cable or explain why full TDS pages or not provided.(Note: full sheets were submitted and approved in Pima County for the first local safety cable application last year and in another current Tucson submittal under a different engineer’s seal |
