You will need to add TDOT's standard notes for planting in the ROW. The proposed striping and signing is acceptable. However the width of the roadway travel lanes does not meet minimum standard of 12 feet. Eliminate angled parking on the east side of the road on 7th Avenue. Add/maintain parallel parking along east side of 7th Avenue. 1. Add type and size of striping for the parking. 4 inch is typical; with thermoplastic paint. 2. Add new Stop sign at North Echols Ave and 5th Street. Restore or replace street name signs. 3. No parking will be allowing on Echols Ave. Install No Parking signs. 4.
