SUBJECT: Grant Road at Stone Avenue, SWG W.O. No. WS1517516, T17PI00001

PROJECT REVIEWER: Richard Leigh, TDOT, TDOT Eng. Review

RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: TDOT Permit Review Section has reviewed the subject PIA paving plan and does not recommend approval at this time. The following comments need to be addressed and plans revised prior to resubmittal. Please include a response letter addressing the following comments and return any redlined drawings with subsequent submittal.

1. Sheet 1: Revise note 7 to reference correct sheet.

2. Sleet 1: Add the following notes to general notes

1. The contractor must obtain an right of way permit From the City of Tucson transportation engineering Division prior to any work in the City public right of ways.

2. The contractor must meet with the City's right of way inspector prior to any work in the public right of way.

3. All backfill within the City of Tucson right of way above the utility shading shall be conducted in accordance to the current PAG Standard Details, specifications, and as directed by The City of Tucson right of way inspector and City engineer.

4. All pavement patching, within the City of Tucson right of way, shall be conducted in accordance to the current Pima Association of Governments Standard Details, Specifications, City of Tucson Technical Standards Manual, Section 10-02 pavement cut criteria, and as directed by the City of Tucson Right of way inspector and City engineer.

5. In accordance to the City of Tucson Technical Standards Manual standards, Section 10-02 permanent pavement patching shall be warranted for 5-years, pavement patch's failing within this period shall be repaired/replaced at no cost to the City of Tucson.
