Sheet C1; Code Review (Allowable Area): Per the IBC Section 506.3, the allowable area increase for an approved automatic sprinkler system (per Section 903.3.1.1) is 200% for buildings with more than one story above grade plane. The calculation would be (9000 x 2) + 9000 = 27,000 SF for the allowable area. Please revise the drawing (indicates 3x for sprinklers). 2. Sheet C1; Code Review (Building Height): Per the IBC Section 504.2, the allowable building height increase for an approved automatic sprinkler system (per Section 903.3.1.1) is 20 feet, and the maximum number of stories increase is one. Therefore, the maximum allowable height is 60 feet, and the maximum number of stories is 3. Please revise the drawing (indicates 2 stories and 40'). 3.
