Section C101.4.5, IECC 2012 requires the space to be brought into full compliance with the current energy code. Provide energy code compliance calculations for this suite of the building envelope; use the climate zone for Tucson. Provide sufficient detail on the drawings to evaluate the energy compliance of this suite of the building envelope. The information shall, as a minimum, include U-factors of the envelope systems and fenestration components, along with the R-values of the insulation and the SHGC for the fenestration. Reference: Sections C103.2 and C401.2, International Energy Conservation Code 2012.
2. Show how one of the "Additional Efficiency Package Options" (C406, IECC 2012) is to be accomplished. Reference: Section C401.2, IECC 2012.
3. Review the submitted heating/cooling load calculations and compare them to the proposed capacities of the rooftop units being installed. The capacities of the units are not to be greater than the calculated loads. Reference: Section C403.2.2, IECC 2012.
4. Provide exhaust for the dressing rooms. Reference: Section 403.3, IMC 2012.
5. Revise the mechanical design for AC-4 as required to avoid using the corridor as a return air duct. Reference: Section 601.2, IMC 2012.
