The minimum plumbing fixtures required indicate an occupancy classification of gymnasium (A-3) per Table 2902.1. The plan on Sheet A1.0 indicates this is primarily a gymnasium. A single occupancy classification must be used for this project, then the allowable square footage and plumbing fixtures will be based on that use. Please revise the occupancy classification, allowable area, and plumbing fixtures as required.

09/15/2017 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Revise the energy code analysis for the building envelope, coordinating the building components used in the analysis with those shown on the drawing (e.g. on the plans, the roof does not show a layer of continuous insulation). Reference: Section C303.1, IECC 2012, as amended by the City of Tucson.
2. Revise the heat gain calculations for HP-8 and HP-10 using the outside air flowrates determined per Section 403.3, IMC 2012 and reassess the required cooling capacities of the units. Reference: Sections C403.2.1 and C403.2.2, IECC 2012.

09/15/2017 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. The plans and the water isometric do not show a recirculating hot water system. Coordinate the water heater detail (and the plumbing specifications) with the plans and the water isometric. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012.
2. Provide roof drainage and hydraulic scupper size calculations based on the 100-year hourly rainfall rate for Tucson, 3" per hour. Consider each portion of the roof (i.e. roof areas separated by crickets or parapets) separately. Reference: Sections 1106.1, 1106.4, and 1108.3, IPC 2012; Section 1611.1, IBC 2012.

09/29/2017 DAN SANTA CRUZ ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change Please address the following electrical plan review comments. Also provide a written response.
#1. Ref: Plan Sheet E5.0. Provide for a complete Grounding Electrode System for the Electrical Service and building, as required per 2011 NEC art 250.
#2. Ref: Plan Sheet E3.0. All receptacles in the restrooms are required to be GFI protected. The locker area is not isolated from the restroom areas, therefore the receptacles in this area should also be GFI protected to prevent the possibility of electric shock to personal as there is a potential for wet people in the area. NEC art 210.8B1, B7.
