04/20/2018 | JOHN VAN WINKLE | ENGINEERING | REVIEW | Reqs Change | T17CM06734 1) Sheet 9 of the development package detail A, shows the correct minimum clearance of 7' between bottom of sign and grade. Sheet x1.2 shows a clearance of 6'. Revise clearance on sheet x1.2 to be 7' 2) See zoning comment 2. The development package sheets provided in the building plan set need to be either, the approved signed sheets, marked as reference only or removed from the building plan set. 3) Sheet 6 of the development package shows sidewalk scuppers for the admin building roof drains. A corresponding detail showing how the roof drains enter the scuppers could not be found in the building plans. Provide detail in building plans showing that, where scuppers are specified in the development package, the roof drains will be routed accordingly. 4) When the above comments are addressed Engineering will provide an over-the-counter review. Call or email to schedule an appointment for this review. John Van Winkle, P.E. John.VanWinkle@tucsonaz.gov 520-837-5007 |
05/02/2018 | FRODRIG2 | LANDFILL | REVIEW | Approved | Environmental & General Services has reviewed the plans for the proposed Container Maintenance Facility to be located at the Los Reales landfill site. The Planning and Development Services activity number for this project is T17CM06734. Environmental & General Services was requested to evaluate the proposed Container Maintenance Facility location against the conditions and requirements contained in the City of Tucson landfill ordinance. The landfill ordinance requires that an evaluation of potential methane gas conditions at the subject site (Container Maintenance Facility) be conducted if the subject site is located within 500 feet of the adjacent landfill site. The southern boundary of the Container Maintenance Facility is located approximately 700 feet north of the north edge of the Los Reales landfill site. As the proposed Container Maintenance Facility is located greater than 500 feet from the north extent of the Los Reales landfill, the landfill ordinance would not apply to the Container Maintenance Facility site. Please contact me if there are any questions concerning this review. Tom Ryan, P. E. City of Tucson - Environmental & General Services Department |
