Provide a design for the mounting shelf for the water heater along with structural calculations to show that the water heater is safely supported from the building structure. Reference: Section 301.2, IPC 2012. 2. Clarify the size of the fixture drain and horizontal branch of the building drain connecting the clotheswasher and the hand sink to the main building drain (shown as 2" on sheet P2.0 and 3" on sheet P4.0). Provide a cleanout for the horizontal branch. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012 and Sections 406.2 and 708.3.1, IPC 2012. 3. Show how the fixture drain for the hand sink for the frosting area is connected to the sanitary waste system. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012. 4. Provide pressure-absorbing devices for the water connections to appliances equipped with quick-acting or solenoid valves (e.g. the clotheswasher). The pressure-absorbing devices shall conform to ASSE 1010; an air chamber is not acceptable. Reference: Section 604.9, IPC 2012. 5. Clarify the reason for using an indirect waste for the pot-fill sink. Reference: Sections 301.3 and 802.1, IPC 2012. 6. Hand sinks in the kitchen are allowed to connect to the sanitary waste system instead of the grease waste system only if each sink has a sign posted above it stating, "HANDWASH SINK ONLY!
