Indirect waste receptors (e.g. hub drains) must have ready access; the area above a hung ceiling does not provide ready access. Hint: see figure 23 in the Carrier installation instructions (http://siglercommercial.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/48HC_04-06_INSTALLATION_48hc-15si.pdf) and terminate over a service sink or floor sink in the building. [Second comment: Condensate drains may not terminate over a roof drain or gutter unless the roof drain or gutter terminates at or below grade in an area capable of absorbing the condensate flow without surface drainage. The shell drawings indicate that the roof drains will terminate at the parking lot curb face. [Initial comment: Condensate drains may not terminate in an area that is not capable of absorbing the condensate flow without surface drainage (e.g. the roof). Reference: Section 307.2.1, IMC 2012, as amended by the City of Tucson.]
