Add note: Where branch-circuit wiring is modified replaced or extended in any of the areas specified in section E3902.12 the branch circuit shall be protected by one of the following. A combination-type AFCI or an outlet branch-circuit type AFCI at the first outlet. Provide plan showing exterior lighting that is being replaced and provide an Outdoor Lighting Code Calculation/note for compliance. (Note lighting color temp. for full cut off lighting maximum is 3500K and unshielded 3000K. Add note: E3905.8 Boxes at fan outlets. Outlet boxes and outlet box systems used as the sole support of ceiling-suspended fans (paddle) shall be marked by their manufacturer as suitable for this purpose and shall not support ceiling-suspended fans (paddle) that weigh more than 70 pounds (31.8 kg). For outlet boxes and outlet box systems designed to support ceiling-suspended fans (paddle) that weigh more than 35 pounds (15.9 kg), the required marking shall include the maximum weight to be supported. |
