Sheet 1R; original comment 14: The Building Summary/Code Review has the Occupancy Classification listed as Group U Utility & Miscellaneous with V-B as the type of construction but the Building Code Data on the same page indicates an Occupancy Classification of F-1 Moderate-Hazard Factory with V-A (5A) as the type of construction. Please coordinate and revise to provide consistency throughout the plan set. 3. Sheet 1R; original comment 16: Permit Data identifies the project as a 15,0200 sq. ft. tenant improvement of an existing building. Please revise to accurately identify the project. 4. Sheet 2R; original comment 17: Sliding doors which are permitted in a means of egress by IBC 1008.1.2 shall be of a breakout type to allow for side hinged operation in the event of a power failure or shall comply with IBC 1008.1.4.3. Also, the electrical plans indicate side hinged doors are being used. Coordinate with Electrical Engineer to provide consistency and clearly indicate on the plans how compliance is being achieved. 5. Original comments 20-25: A response letter from Morris Shafer addressing comments 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, & 25 was not included in the submittal. Please provide. 6. General: Provide a Special Inspection Certificate for the City of Tucson which has been properly filled out. There were three copies provided but were not filled out. Also, three copies of a Special Inspection Certificate for the Town of Oro Valley were included, among many other copies of unnecessary paperwork. Please organize and provide 2 copies of the necessary plan sheets and supporting information needed to provide a complete submittal. 7. General Note: This was only a partial review. Additional comments may be forthcoming after review of the re-submittal. 8. General Note: Provide a written response letter which contains the reviewer(s) comments followed by the Registrant's response. |
