1. The building plans have been reviewed by Zoning Review Section but cannot approve the plan until all zoning comments or concerns have been addressed.

2. As there are significant changes proposed to the site development package DP16-0044 will need to be revised prior to approval of the building plans.

3. If development package sheets are going to be provided in the building plan set the development package sheets need to be the signed approved sheets.

4. Until the above comments have been addressed and all other PDSD review agencies have approved the building plans zoning cannot approve.

05/02/2017 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Revise the specification for the lavatory faucets to include a mixing valve listed to ASSE 1070. Reference: Sections 416.5 and 607.1.2, IPC 2012.
2. At a minimum, beverage dispensers require the use of a backflow preventer listed to ASSE 1022. Reference: Section 608.16.10, IPC 2012.
3. Verify that the discharge from the glass washer and the dish machine (kitchen equipment numbers 021 and 103) will be 140 degrees Fahrenheit or less. Reference: Section701.7, IPC 2012.
4. Hand sinks in the kitchen are allowed to connect to the sanitary waste system instead of the grease waste system only if each sink has a sign posted above it stating, "HANDWASH SINK ONLY! NO FOOD PREPARATION OR DISHWASHING ALLOWED." Reference: Section 1003.3, IPC 2012, as amended by the City of Tucson.
5. Southwest Gas, the local gas utility, provides natural gas at 7" WG, 2 PSIG, and 5 PSIG. Appliances needing gas service at 7" WG or greater (e.g. most new fryers) will require a gas meter that delivers at least 2 PSIG gas into a regulator located after the meter set. Reference: Section 402.1, IFGC 2012.

05/05/2017 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Provide energy code compliance calculations for the building envelope (e.g. COMcheck); use the climate zone for Tucson. Provide sufficient detail on the drawings to evaluate the energy compliance of the building envelope. The information shall, as a minimum, include U-values of the envelope systems and fenestration components, along with the R-values of the insulation and the SHGC for the fenestration. The U-values and SHGC for the fenestration components shall be NFRC-certified. Reference: Sections C103.2 and C401.2, International Energy Conservation Code 2012.
2. Show how the requirements of Section C406, IECC 2012 are to be satisfied.
3. Provide heating and cooling load calculations that justify the capacities of the heating and cooling equipment specified for the project. Reference: Sections C403.2.1 and C403.2.2, IECC 2012, and Section 312.1, IMC 2012.
4. Verify that the installer setup menu for the specified programmable thermostat includes an automatic start-up control (i.e. the thermostat is capable of automatically adjusting the start time of the HVAC equipment in order to bring the interior conditions to the desired temperature at the start of occupancy). Reference: Section C403.2.4, IECC 2012.
5. Clarify how excess outside air relief from the building is to be accomplished without recirculation of the relief air. Reference: Section C403.3.1.1.4, IECC 2012.
