By calculation, the schedule for Building 1 shows a cooling capacity 11.36 MBH in excess of the calculated cooling load, Building 2 shows a cooling capacity 39.02 MBH in excess of the load, Building 3 shows a cooling capacity 212.78 MBH in excess of the load, and Building 4 shows a cooling capacity 17.60 MBH in excess of the load. Per 2012 IECC C403.2.2, the output capacity of heating and cooling equipment and systems shall not exceed the loads calculated in accordance with Section C403.2.1. The capacity excesses are substantial, particularly for buildings 2 and 3. Please show specifically how your selections for each building are in compliance with this Code section. |
