(Effective March 8, 2008). 2. Provide the minimum plumbing facilities required by Table 2902.1 and Section 2902.2, IBC 2012, for business occupancy (e.g. service sink). 3. The architectural floor plan on A-2 shows what appear to be a high-low drinking fountain located on the north wall of the new men's shower room. Specify the drinking fountain and show how it is to be installed. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012. 4. Provide fixture descriptions more precise than "Kohler" so that the listing information and installation requirements for each fixture can be reviewed. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012. 5. Specify the shower controls and fittings. Reference: Section 424, IPC 2012. 6. Provide details showing how the shower enclosures and the floor of the showers are to be constructed in accordance with the requirements of 417, IPC 2012. 7. Provide automatic faucets for the lavatories that will dispense a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the automatic faucets will operate for a minimum time of 10-seconds. Reference: Section 416.6, IPC 2012, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09. 8. Provide a detail showing that the water heater located above the ceiling will have adequate access and maintenance space. Reference: Section 502.3, IPC 2012 and Article 210.70(c), NEC 2011. 9. In non-residential occupancies, the plumbing code requires hot or tempered water to be available for bathing and washing purposes. Show that you will have adequate hot or tempered water available for the two showers considering that you are installing a 20-gallon water heater with a recovery of 12-gallons per hour and a storage temperature of 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
