BUILDING – COMMERCIAL
Submit a City of Tucson Code Analysis Data sheet. Is this building a non-separated I-2 or a separated use facility? What is the building type? What is the occupancy group and occupancy load? What is the square footage of affected area?
Submit plumbing fixture calculations and show how suite is in compliance.
On sheet g1.0, change Code Requirement for NEC to 2011 edition, and NFC to 2012 edition.
On sheet g1.3, the new entry alcove indicates a 1-hour rated soffit; however the corridor wall is shown as 2-hour rated. Show alcove soffit/ceiling as 2-hour rated and provide section detail.
On sheet g1.3, remodeled Procedure Room 5 shows perimeter walls as lead-lined. Is the original procedure room lead-lined with a lead lined door? Also, the new work shown in this room shown on sheet a1.0 refers to “5/8” GWB, moisture resistant” (keynote 3) with no mention that it is to be lead lined. Please clarify the work on both sheets. If the doors are to be new lead-lined doors, include them on the door schedule, sheet a4.0.
On sheet S1.0, structural support for hanging equipment is detailed. Submit structural calculations for these point loads imposed on the existing floor/roof structure.
On sheet a1.0, add “2-hr fire rated” to keynote 5.
On sheet a1.0, keynote 16 at corridor wall of procedure room 5 appears to be erroneous.
On sheet a4.0, door and frame schedule, doors 2630A, 2640, 2649, and 2886 should be noted as “90-minute U.L. rating.” Associated hardware sets 1 and 7 should include door closers.
