2. Sheet 2; Scope of Work: Several notes indicate the use of A325 bolts. If these are to be used, a Special Inspection Certificate must be filled out and submitted to the City of Tucson. Please verify.
3. Provide structural analysis of existing materials by registered structural engineer to determine scope of life remaining for tapered uprights. Analysis to include structural calculations and an on-site inspection report of conditions that are or may be affecting the structural integrity of the uprights, to be substantiated by close-up photographs, particularly at the upright web bases.
4. General: Please provide written responses to all review comments.
12/21/2017 GLENN MOYER ADMINISTRATIVE ADMIN REVIEW Reqs Change 1. In 8th & 9th paragraphs of Scope of Work, clarify if north tapered upright and offsets are to remain in place while attaching bolts are replaced or are to be removed and reinstalled.
2. In 13th paragraph of Scope of Work add total number of 16d nails per panel and number per stringer for each panel.
3. In East Face Sign Elevation, depict overhead light fixtures.
4. In Face Panel Attachment, clarify disposition of two nails shown (30d & 16d) and if both to be removed with panel clips and not to be reinstalled or replaced.
5. In Poster Panel Side View, add depiction of lower spacers and section rests and disposition of north tapered upright.
6. Add note that inspection to be called for after replacement of south tapered upright but prior to reinstallation of face panels and pigeon pan frame and prior to removal of replaced south tapered upright from site.
