11/09/2016 | GARY WITTWER | DOT LANDSCAPE | REVIEW | Approv-Cond | TDOT just finished landscaping this new roadway. Please stay off the new landscape and the new bike path. I see a trenching detail. Where does that happen? and will you be removing existing Landscape and Irrigation? |
11/15/2016 | LINZUNZA | DOT ENGINEERING ADMINISTRATOR | REVIEW | Denied | Date: November 15, 2016 PROJECT NAME: OH Houghton Rd, Drexel Rd to Old Vail Rd WORK ORDER #: 2016TUC 01-29236 (0972251) ACTIVITY NUMBER: T16PI00020 PROJECT REVIEWER: M.J. Dillard, P.E., City of Tucson DOT Engineering Comments: As project manager for the on-going Houghton Road Corridor, I have reviewed said plan and recommends denial. The following comments need to be addressed in the subsequent plan submittal. 1. I can't quite tell what will be overhead and what will be bored. Also, regarding boring, where will their pits and potholing be? I would want to make sure it doesn't interfere with our newer infrastructure in the area. So how about adding a note to avoid damaging any TDOT infrastructure in the area. 2. The moratorium for the Houghton and Old Vail intersection is up. However, we are getting started on the construction of the Bridge over the UPRR, which ties into this intersection on the south side on Houghton. If you have any questions, I can be reached at 837-6616 or MJ.Dillard@tucsonaz.gov |
