Resubmittal Required: Traffic Engineering does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan therefore a revised plan is required for re-submittal. The following items must be revised or added to the plan. Include a response letter with the next submittal that states how all comments have been addressed.

Sheet 6 of 9:

1. As noted on plan, revise number of signs on sign summary.

2. On signing notes change phone number of Street Maintenance to 520 791 3191 on note 9. On note 11 eliminate reference to Pima County, should be City of Tucson.

Sheet 7 of 9:

1. Add right turn signs as noted on plan. New R3-5R, and right lane R3-5fp plaque typical to right turn lanes.
2. Add new begin right turn lane yield to bikes sign.
3. Add new stop signs, and stop legends at driveways. Stop signs should be placed outside of right of way.
4. Right turn bay shows 3 arrow legends. Two are required.

1. Add new right turn only sign at northern driveway.

11/14/2016 GARY WITTWER DOT LANDSCAPE REVIEW Denied The COT has existing landscape and irrigation along the shoulder and in the median. Please address providing sleeves for the existing system under new paved entrances and in the median reduction. You will need to mitigate tree removal 2 new tree for each one removed. Contact Streets to fine the location and extent of irrigation system. There appears to be a private irrigation crossing on the side street off Headly. If this is under a publis roadway you will need to follow the City's new Detail. Please call me for that information. 837-6618

RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: TDOT Permit Review Section has reviewed the subject PIA paving plan and recommends a conditional approval. The following comments need to be addressed and plans revised prior to final approval.

1. Include the plan number "U-2016-016" in the title block of each sheet.

2. Include the PIA activity number "T16PI00019" on cover sheet.

3. Provide construction joint details for PCCP longitudinal joints, PCCP to Curb and PCCP to Half Barrier.

1. Sheet 2 of 9 - Right Lane Detail - You have called out a 1" AR-ACFC over 8" of PCCP. Is thisjsut matching existing?
2. Sheet 4 of 9 - Median in Plan View - The ends of this median modification appear to be approximately 20 feet of just vertical curb? This seems to be a traffic hazard.

11/16/2016 ERNIE ENCINAS DOT_ELEC REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Relocated street light poles at approx. 18+60 and 20+40 are being relocated further back from curb and closer to existing TEP power lines. Verify installation of poles will not be inconflict with TEP requirements for clearance and acceptance.
2. New conduit and conductors shall be installed behind curb in any area that the roadway median is moved back. No conduit shall be in roadway, except for street crossings or driveway cuts.
3. Traffic signal plans to reflect 4 section heads for left turn movements, not 5 section 'Q' heads.
