SUBJECT: Paving Plans for Elementary Place, Lots 1-51

PROJECT REVIEWER: Richard Leigh, TDOT, TDOT Eng. Review

RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: TDOT Permit Review Section has reviewed the subject PIA paving plan and does not recommend approval at this time. The following comments need to be addressed and plans revised prior to resubmittal. Please include a response letter addressing the following comments and return redlined drawings with subsequent submittal.

1. Include the plan number "I-2016-009" in the title block of each sheet.

2. Include the PIA activity number "T16PI00011" on cover sheet.

3. Sheet 3, Detail A & B: Indicate the final surface treatment of the Median Islands.

4. Sheet 5: Verify that the proposed grades at the intersection of Chalkboard Court & Fremming Ave and Bookmark Pl & Fremming Ave will prevent stormwater flows from ponding in the intersections.

5. Sheet 5 & 6: Indicate the placement of Barricade railing along the back side of proposed sidewalk scuppers.

6. Sheet 7: Indicate that the relocated speed hump is placed per PCDOT & TDOT Traffic Engineering Division Pavement Marking Standards 5-18.1.

7. Sheet 8, Section 1: The minimum roadway cross slope for a roadway with a longitudinal grade greater that 0.5% is 2%. Verify that roadway grades and slopes comply with COT Technical Standards Manual Section 10-0.4.5.

08/25/2016 LINZUNZA DOT PERMITS & CODES REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Sheet 2 - Note 6 - Asphalt Concrete should conform to City of Tucson, TDOT Mix#2. This is a new mix that is different from what is called out in section 406 of the PC/COT SS.
2. Sheet 4 - Keynote 8 - This note calls for 5 foot wide sidewalks. Detail on sheet 9 shows the sidewalk along Pima as 6 foot wide.
3. Sheet 7 - Keynote 8 - This note calls for 5 foot wide sidewalk. Detail on sheet 9 shows sidewalk along Fremming as 6 foot wide.
